Nives Meroi’s life story is of decades spent climbing mountains around the world. The ascent of K2, in particular, was the outcome of a deep desire generated by the observation of the north face and of its trail, which was so beautiful and perfect that it was breathtaking. It was a desire to touch beauty that accompanied Nives and her husband Romano Benet on all of their adventures on all of the Earth’s fourteen, 8000m+ mountains.
